- Recognising the signs of abuse in victims.
- How abused individuals can be impacted, both long and short term.
In this module of the course we will cover:
- What constitutes emotional abuse, and the signs to recognise in victims.
- Difficulties facing those who are emotionally abused by a family member, and the consequences on the rest of the family unit.
- How emotional abuse can affect children in particular.
In this module of the course we will cover:
- What physical abuse is and who it can affect.
- How physical assault can be present within families and the challenges facing victims.
- The criminal repercussions facing abusers.
In this module of the course we will cover:
- What constitutes as domestic abuse, and who it can occur between.
- The effects that domestic abuse can have on children.
- Domestic abuse figures in the UK today.
In this module of the course we will cover:
- What constitutes sexual abuse.
- Male sexual abuse victims
- Terms used to describe aspects of child sexual abuse.
The final assessment test is an online interactive examination containing 50 questions to be completed within a 60 minute time frame.
The final assessment will contain questions from all modules and topics covered within the course.
The results from the final assessment test will count 100% towards the final grade for the course.
The results are instantaneous so learners will be informed straight away as to how they have performed on the assessment.
If for any reason you don’t pass first time around you have unlimited exam retakes.
