- To understand the common etiquette with each of the main methods
- How the Accounts Assistant supports senior accounting roles
In this module of the course we will cover:
- Purchase ledger invoices and the information required
- The importance of monitoring petty cash and processes involved
- Identify what is a useable receipt and the best way to record them
In this module of the course we will cover:
- Discuss payroll timesheets and their importance within payroll
- Discuss employee rights surrounding holiday pay in the UK
- To recognise the rights and pay for both sick leave and maternity leave for workers in the UK
In this module of the course we will cover:
- Explore the different forms of Reconciliation
- To understand how a reconciliation form is filled out
- Discuss the skills necessary to perform reconciliations and financial reports
In this module of the course we will cover:
- Identify what software is most used in businesses
- To recognise the advantages and disadvantages of accounting software
- The specific IT skills necessary to become an account’s assistant
The final assessment test is an online interactive examination containing 50 questions to be completed within a 60 minute time frame.
The final assessment will contain questions from all modules and topics covered within the course.
The results from the final assessment test will count 100% towards the final grade for the course.
The results are instantaneous so learners will be informed straight away as to how they have performed on the assessment.
If for any reason you don’t pass first time around you have unlimited exam retakes.
